A very procrastinated update!

I realized that it's been about a year since I last posted on this blog! To those of you who've been wondering why I haven't updated in so long, I'm sorry!  This year has been amazing/crazy/wonderful/stressful and everything inbetween. The biggest crafter development is I got into the Quilted Bear in provo about a month ago and so far business is great! It has been keeping me on my toes though and makes things like sleeping, eating and doing anything other than going to my other job kind of difficult. Here is a small update on some fun things I've done recently! Enjoy :)

A very simple, yet adorable bear beanie that can be customized with a flower, bow or other accessory.

My adorably chubby niece in a cow beanie.

Avryi modeling the boy sockmonkey hat.

And the girl version.
I made this hat just before this last easter. Next year I'll have several different sizes and colors available.

One of my absolute favorite photos, it's so precious! Thanks again to Sherry at S.W. Portraits

Miss Sadie

This is my cousins newborn who I made a little snowman hat for. She is so precious! The idea for the hat came from a picture she linked. I'm so glad it turned out so cute!

The Adorable Mr. Lincoln

So a while ago I gave my incredibly talented cousin Sheri some hats for her little boy and to use in her photography business. These pictures are of her adorable little boy Lincoln whom the hat he's playing with is named after. He is such a cutie!

Kodiak Beanie

I love little bear hats. They are just so cute! I picked up some yarn the other day, and I figured I'd make one. They're so simple but still so fun. They're so easy to customize as well. You can put a bow, a flower, or anything else on them and they're instantly a bit girlie. My niece of course was the model for me again. She seemed to really like the hat!

Lindberg Hat

This absolutely precious picture was taken by Sherry, an extremely talented photographer from SW Portraits. Her blog site is: http://srwportraits.blogspot.com

The hat is brown and white, with the white made with a fuzzy yarn. The ear flaps are two toned with the white on the inside. The Buttons at the top are wooden.

Avyri Beanie

This pattern has been a work in progress for quite some time now but I've finally perfected it. It's a basic shell stitch beanie that was giving me lots of greif, but I'm really happy with the way it turned out. The sizes shown are 3-6 mo. but it can be adjusted to any size. The colors shown are just the ones that I've had the materials to make recently, but I'm picking up more yarn today and making a bunch more. The flowers shown come with the hats and can be customized to whatever color combination you'd like. The picture quality is unfortunately hideous. I've been using the camera on my Android but it's severely lacking. My camera has decided to play hide and seek with me so for now this is the best I can do :)

First Post :) Isabelle Cloche

So as you may be able to tell by the name, I kinda like baby hats. When i first started crocheting about 3 years ago, I made several basic beanies for premies at my local hospital. Since then I have expanded my knowledge and started to try new things. Living in the same house with a niece and nephew who are both very little, it makes it even easier to come up with inspiration and use them as models.

The inspiration for this hat came to me the other day while I was browsing the internet. I saw the cloche style of hat. After several hours of trying to figure out a pattern, this is what I came up with. I had both extra orange and blue yarn lying around and they seemed to fit well together. The pink I made last night just for fun. I think it turned out pretty well.

My niece was my model for these hats and my huband is holding her.
